One side of the debate argues that gay marriage should be legal, other side says it shouldn't. As a not-fully-open-mind person I will discuss the issue not in "why it should" point of view but why it shouldn't view. Firstly lets list the bad things which could happen if gay marriage become legal, then I will try to answer them as much as I can.
Possible problems:
1. The traditional marriage structure will be down.
2. It is against the nature!
3. Homosexuality going to spread around the world! (this one is some kind of apocalyptic catastrophe (!))
4. Procreation number will decrease.
That's enough I guess.
My answers:
1. The tradition marriage consists of mother, father, and children. There are a lot of families without children. they don't feel like they destroy the traditional concept. Also what happens if the "traditional" side of marriage disappear? Is traditional always good? I don't know...
2. We have discussed this in class: There are gay penguins.
3. Why would I be lesbian if there are lesbian people around me? Is it some kind of contagious disease?

4. This one is related to the 3rd one. So, I skip.
Extra. There is one also which is not an anti-gay marriage argument (my friend suggested that): The homosexuals would be killed. I think this one is pretty realistic, at least in our society.
Let me summarize the main idea: Gay-marriage doesn't effect heterosexuals. If they really want to get marriage (knowing all the dangers), why not?
